Marilyse Senécal — refait surface avec une proposition humaine et enracinée, laquelle prend la forme d'un nouveau maxi au titre porteur: Bridges. Les ponts. Ceux que l'on crée. Ceux que l'on brûle, aussi.
Just over a year after the release of her debut EP, No One Changes Overnight, which was warmly received by IX Daily, Journal Métro, VOIR, Bucketlist, Écoutedonc.ca and 98.5 FM, Montreal-based San James, a.k.a Marilyse Senécal, resurfaces with a mature and grounded proposal. With her rich and powerful vocals, she remains at ease, shining unequivocally as she reveals a more vulnerable, lucid, and human version of herself with her sophomore EP, the cleverly-titled Bridges. Something has changed. We’ve heard there’s no turning back.
