'Beast from the East' blankets UK's M20 with snow

A motorist captured his morning commute on the M20 in Kent, England, as a major snowstorm, known as the “Beast from the East,” hit on February 27.

“Luckily one of us had a 4x4 with some decent off-road tyres,” the motorist said. “My heart went out to all the other motorists who were stuck in the tailbacks and were unable to make their way through like we did.”
