The History of the Louis Vuitton Monogram

The Louis Vuitton LV Logo is one of the most recognizable brand logos in the world. The famed monogram pattern is made up of four ornaments including three stylized floral motifs plus the monogram of the company’s founder. The LV logo first appeared on a hard-sided trunk, of course. The logo has since appeared on countless Louis Vuitton métiers, including dresses, jackets, leather goods, shoes, accessories, watches, jewelry, stationary and fragrance.
