A traditional Hawaiian voyaging canoe, the Hōkūleʻa, entered Pearl Harbour for the first time in its 42-year history on February 10.The boat is owned by the non-profit Polynesian Voyaging Society and travels using traditional Polynesian sailing techniques.The Hawaii Star Advertiser reported that three Navy ships greeted the ship as it entered the harbour at 8am local time.
