Netflix Paid Over $50 Million for 'The Cloverfield Paradox' The streaming company debuted the trailer for the J.J. Abrams-produced film during Super Bowl LII. The Hollywood Reporter released the terms of the deal, which was finalized just last month. The budget for the film was
$55 million. Cloverfield Paradox was released to mixed reviews and its Rotten Tomatoes score currently sits at 20 percent. Paramount retains the rights to future Cloverfield installments.
