Bicyclists Strike back at Santa MonicaTry our new player

On August 1, 2008 Santa Monica Police turned out in force to harass and discourage 150 bicyclists from participating in a Critical Mass ride through the city. Though the bicyclists followed the law, stopping at red lights and stop signs, SMPD issued 14 citations for various questionable infractions. In response a group of bicycle activists called Crimanimalz, organized a unique form of protest the following week.
