Man Rifles Through Mailboxes in Doncaster

A thief with a strange modus operandi snuck into an apartment building in Doncaster, Melbourne, on Monday, January 22, stealing mail in the early morning hours.At about 4:15 am, the man was pictured on CCTV footage going through a number of mailboxes at the Manningham Rd building, and it’s alleged he has done this before, on December 7, 2017.Police said the man pretended to be a resident when he saw a female resident of the building and gained entry by walking inside after the woman.Police do not know if any mail was stolen during these incidents.
