Trio Rescued After Three Hours in Rough Seas

A group of three people was rescued from rough seas late on Saturday night, January 27, off the Perth coast at Swanbourne.Police said the trio had been thrown from the back of the vessel while on their way home from Rottnest Island, and floated in seas off Perth for nearly three hours. Footage shows the three people, two women and a man, climbing aboard a rescue boat, suffering from exhaustion.Police said they were not wearing floatation devices, despite the boat having some on board.
