Bigots are unable to fathom the Prophet Solomon's (pbuh) love for beauty

ADNAN OKTAR: In the Torah, the Jews of the time were quite envious of the Prophet Solomon (pbuh) as he was loved and in the company of many women. Even those known for their piety, and the Jews of the time who practiced idolatry were fed up with the Prophet Solomon's (pbuh) easygoing attitude towards women, and they criticized the blessed Prophet severely. They were so astonishingly furious that they even wrote this down in the Torah. He had 300 wives and 700 concubines, each of whom was more beautiful and well-groomed then the other; these women would not wear headscarves or burqa; they would dress in nice, low-cut clothing. His palace was also magnificent. The Torah writes: "King Solomon, however, loved many foreign women besides Pharaoh’s daughter—Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians and Hittites." [1 Kings 11:1] Wonderful. "They were from nations about which the Lord had told the Israelites, "Of the nations concerning which the Lord said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love." " The Prophet Solomon was the reason many became Muslims, and yet you still make accusations against him. He made believers out of the Moabites among many others as well as the entourage of Pharaoh; he was a great guide. "You must not intermarry with them;" this was said under the circumstances of the time and was aimed at the people, meaning "Do not talk to or become intimate with indecent people." Otherwise, it does not mean, "Do not preach religion to them or have any affiliation with them." They misinterpreted the commandment of the Torah in that era. "He had seven hundred wives of royal birth and three hundred concubines..." Of course this statement is more accurate; "...and his wives led him astray," in other words, "Solomon's wives led him astray." Do you see the anger they feel towards the rightly guided Prophet? Only because his wives wear revealing clothes and there is music and entertainment, they accuse the Prophet Solomon (pbuh) of going astray in the Torah. "As Solomon grew old, his wives turned his heart after other gods," these accusations stem from pure jealousy and anger. "...and his heart was not fully devoted to the Lord his God, as the heart of David his father had been. He followed Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, and Molek the detestable god of the Ammonites. (Book 1 of Kings, 11/1-5) In short, they claim that the Prophet Solomon (pbuh) worshiped idols. He was the wisest person of his era, why would he worship Molek or any others? Do you see how offended the idolaters of the era were? The idolaters of today also take offense at you ladies' beauty; they criticize you heavily and arbitrarily. Do you see the aspersions they cast upon the Prophet?  Look at their anger. Look at their grudge. This is out of pure jealousy, because the people saying these things are completely unfamiliar with women and love. "So Solomon did evil in the eyes of the Lord; he did not follow the Lord completely, as David his father had done. On a hill east of Jerusalem, Solomon built a high place for Chemosh the detestable god of Moab, and for Molek the detestable god of the Ammonites." This, too, is a lie. He was the person who had all idolater temples demolished and idolater ideologies abolished. "He did the same for all his foreign wives, who burned incense and offered sacrifices to their gods." Do you see what holding grudge did to these people? They cast these aspersions because God did not grant them beautiful women, music, entertainment, sculptures, paintings. They objected to all of these. The women were well-groomed, adorned with golden jewelry, donning revealing clothes; and do you see how this hurt them deeply? Thus, they cast all the aspersions and accusations on the Prophet Solomon (pbuh). Look, the verses continue; "The Lord became angry with Solomon because his heart had turned away from the Lord, the God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice. Although he had forbidden Solomon to follow other gods, Solomon did not keep the Lord’s command.  So the Lord said to Solomon, “Since this is your attitude and you have not kept my covenant and my decrees, which I commanded you, I will most certainly tear the kingdom away from you and give it to one of your subordinates." This too is a lie; the Prophet Solomon (pbuh) lived quite a long life, to the very end of which he remained a king. What they are implying is that the Prophet Solomon (pbuh) was a disbeliever, an apostate, that he would worship idols. And what do they currently say about us? The exact same thing. Which means that both the idolaters of that are and their modern counterparts treat the believers in the same way. Do you see the ang
