Former First Lady of Mexico Is A President Hopeful With A Plan

Mexican presidential hopeful and former first lady Margarita Zavala is running on a pulpit of reversing a policy her husband instituted.
According to Zavala, she wants to strengthen the police force while withdrawing Army troops stationed throughout the country.
Her husband, former president Felipe Calderon, began deploying Army troops to curb cartel violence back in 2006.
However, over 100,000 people have been killed over the last decade due to increased gang and cartel violence.
