RAW: European Commission ‘ready to continue its work with Greece’

The European Commission is ready to continue its work with Greece, but the commission is unable to negotiate a new bailout without support from the Eurogroup, says Valdis Dombrovskis, the commission's vice-president in charge of the euro and social dialogue. "The 'No' result, unfortunately, widens the gap between Greece and other eurozone countries. There is no easy way out of this crisis. Too much time and too many opportunities have been lost," Dombrovskis said.
