Wall Street rebounded a day after suffering its first losses of the year.
Boosted by strong corporate earnings and gains made in the price of brent crude oil, the major indexes on the New York Stock Exchange are all up.
The S&P 500 grew by half-a-percent, supported by a bump in its energy sector.
As brent crude rose above $70 for the first time in almost four years, the S&P's energy sector jumped 2-percent.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average is also up half-a-percent, having gained 138 points on the day.
The Dow also reached a new high of 25,507.
