Saskatchewan man melts ice on path with blowtorch after freezing rain

This Canadian resident took drastic action to combat freezing rain that fell in southern Saskatchewan on Tuesday night - by taking a blowtorch to his walkway.

Local reports said that roads and sidewalks were slick and treacherous in parts of the Canadian province as a result of the freezing rain.
