Trump Bannon row: President says ex-ally 'changed his tune pretty quick'

President Donald Trump has threatened his former chief strategist Steve Bannon with legal action over "defamatory" statements in a new book about an infamous meeting Trump's son and son-in-law held with Russian lawyers during the 2016 US presidential campaign. Asked if he felt betrayed by Bannon, Trump told reporters on Thursday (4 January): "He called me a great man last night, so... he obviously changed his tune pretty quick."
