Victims of Deadly Bus Crash in Pasamayo Transported to Hospital

A bus traveling along the N1 highway in Pasamayo, Peru, careened off the side of a tall cliff and crashed on the beach below, killing at least 36 people. 6 people survived and were rushed to a national hospital in Callao via ambulance and helicopter.The Ministry of Health reported that the government was preparing two “emergency and disaster” management teams, one “search and disaster” team, and a mental health team to help with the incident. “24 specialists in total, ready to act in this emergency.” Credit: Ministry of Health Peru via Storyful
