Prehistoric Mammoth Skeleton Sold For $645,000

On Saturday, the most intact wooly mammoth skeleton ever discovered was sold for 645,000 dollars. The prehistoric remains were discovered in Siberia nearly a decade ago and has an estimated value of 530,000 dollars, according to auctioneer Claude Aguttes. Soprema CEO Pierre-Etienne Bindschelder purchased the skeleton for 540,000 euros at the Aguttes auction house in Lyon.
