Bianca Jade is of Cuban and Jamaican descent, born in Miami but raised in Frederick, Maryland. With a passion for performing and sharing music, the young singer-songwriter has made several strides on a career path toward the music industry.
Singing with a dream since the age of ten, Bianca taught herself to play piano and guitar and began writing her own music at 14. In 2012, at age 19, she was the national grand prize winner of the Sparkle Singing Challenge -- recorded her first single in New York -- and since then has opened for Grammy nominees and sang the National Anthem for the 2013 Presidential Inauguration, simulcast from the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts.
Her influences come from a variety of artists such as Amy Winehouse, Alicia Keys, Coldplay, Adele, Bob Marley, Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Kings of Leon, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and more. From the inspiration provided by these artists, Bianca Jade has developed a unique sound that ranges from Pop to R&B, Soul, Reggae and Jazz.
