Oh, Rocket! is an Indie/Pop/Electronic project of Kolkata based singer/songwriter Aniket Dutta.The idea of the band came up when Dutta sent his solo demos to his friend Shubha. He got his urges to play on these songs and they started to work together. Aniket had 5-6 songs written as a singer/songwriter with minimal electronics, Shubha joined in and they decided to swing to the other side of the spectrum. Around November of 2013 Oh,rocket was formed and started working as a Duo. The band blends Indie, pop with dreamy soul singing and dance-y electronic vibe. Oh,Rocket was mentioned as one of the best new artists of 2014 by Rolling Stone India.
