Sydney Soul singer Josué, (pronouned hose-way) has been dubbed Sydney’s Prince of soul.
Fresh off releasing his very first EP ‘Bad News’ 6-tracks deep, Josué intricately infuses soul with hip hop on top of seamless beats complimented with Josué’s smooth voice. With the support of his band The SoulBenders, ‘Bad News’ carries out Josué’s trademark get-up-on-your-feet tracks guaranteed to soothe the soul. Imagine D’Angelo, Justin Timberlake and Bruno Mars made a baby, Josué is the result of it. The EP includes two of his previous releases ‘Summer Time’ and ‘What’s On Your Mind’. ‘What’s on your mind’ was premiered originally on ‘Soul Bounce,’ and is now sitting
pretty with 2k plays under its belt. His first official release ‘Summer Time’ has clocked up over 3k plays, with blogs in across
the globe vibing to his music including Poland, France, Sweden and Japan making ‘Summer Time’ a hit. He has since shared the stage with some of Sydney’s high ranking musical entertainers including Doug Williams and Keyboardist Sam McNally. At 23, Josué brings life into live music with entertaining musical arrangements,
soul fire musicians, and plenty of dance moves! He is also currently playing all around Sydney as a guitarist and singer with groups such as his own group The SoulBenders, and has also joined the
Godfather of soul and The Voice contestant Doug Williams for various shows such as supporting Boney M at the Enmore Theatre in 2014. “Josué is a very proficient and enthusiastic guitarist and musician who I’ve had the pleasure of sharing the stage with.
