Previously known as “Johnny Card”, Joan Queralt is an artist who mixes folk, blues and rock with acoustic sounds. After releasing his first EP “I Miss the Waves” (RHRN, 2013) and the single “Cheap Guitar” (La Cúpula, 2014). The new album “Welcome Home” will be released in Spain in September 8 2015. ‘WELCOME HOME’ was recorded between April and June of 2015 at ARCTICWAVE STUDIO (www.arcticwavestudio.com) and mastered by Mario G Alberni at KADIFORNIA MASTERING (www.kadifornia.com), the title “Welcome Home” is a statement of intent. In it, Joan Queralt welcomes us into his own universe, a collection of songs with various styles but with a clear essence of American music.
