Informed by their vast experience and their roots in jazz, funk and soul, A-C Leonte, one of Romania's best singers, and her producer-drummer Tavi Scurtu (punct8), a legend in his own mind, explore the world of live electronic music with a dub mentality, bringing about melodic beauty and harmonic richness and depth, alongside heavy basslines and strong rhythms, using mind to shape matter into transient sound sculptures that reveal ideas from a higher reality. Their reflections on the contrasts between the contemporary 'virtualised' world and the reality it is twice removed from give birth to inspired music, with profound, powerful lyrics, a much needed wake up call.
