Isabel Vinardell & Isabel Laudenbach publiquen el seu disc ‘A solas’ (Chesapik, 2016), un títol enregistrat en espais singulars que reflexa l'esperit experimentador d’aquestes dues grans músics . Però que ningú es confongui; ‘A solas’ no demana solitud, al contrari; les ‘Isabeles’ ens conviden a formar part d'un univers íntim on el flamenco adquireix una nova dimensió, on és capaç de mutar en copla o en cançons melòdiques cantades en italià. Una proposta polifòrmica, atrevida i de les que es degusten millor en les distàncies curtes d’un escenari.
Isabel Vinardell & Isabel Laudenbach just published their record ‘A Solas’(Chesapik, 2016), a title that reflects the experimentation spirit that runs through the ten songs. But don't it get it wrong; A solas (trad. ‘On our own’) it's not a cry for solitude, quite the opposite. Both Isabels invite us to take part of their intimate universe where flamenco takes upon a whole new dimension; where it's capable of mutating into coplas or melodic songs sung in Italian. A fanciful proposal, bold and enjoyed best in the short distances.
