Grizzlies fire second-year head coach David Fizdale after 7-12 start

The Memphis Grizzlies have fired head coach David Fizdale after the team started 7-12 this season. The second-year coach had guided the team to a playoff appearance in the first season but couldn't overcome an eight-game losing streak that sees them in the bottom of the Western Conference. Fizdale's firing was first reported by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
