Hard-Hitting Prospect Crocker Embraces His Heavy-Handed Reputation

Welterweight prospect Lewis Crocker said that he has embraced his hard-hitting reputation as he looks for a fourth knockout on a huge fight card Saturday night in Belfast. After turning pro last March, Crocker has recorded three early knockout wins over the past eight months. The heavy-handed Belfast native will fight on the undercard of Carl Frampton's return to the ring against Mexico's Horacio Garcia. Despite fight fans and media gradually building up Crocker's wrecking-ball reputation, the young welterweight insists that he does not feel pressure to knockout his opponents. Crocker said, “There was more pressure going into my first fight than what I feel now. I’m just getting confident. I’m dropping people and getting better each fight as well."
