Nearly 1.5 million people signed up for Obamacare plans so far: officials

Nearly one and a half million people have signed up for Obamacare in the open enrollment period so far. There has been scrutiny over how Obamacare will do under the Trump Administration as President Donald Trump has repeatedly tried to undermine the law as “dead”. The Trump administration halved the open enrollment period to six weeks and cut the advertising budget by 90 percent, so it is still unclear whether there will be the same level of participation as years past.
