Time-lapse of Stars Filmed From Volcano Crater in Hawaii

This amazing time-lapsed footage shows a sunrise at Mauna Kea, a dormant volcano in Hawaii.The footage was recorded in May of this year and this is what uploader Michael told Storyful about the breath-taking time-lapse: “I climbed up onto a volcanic crater rim to position the camera so that it could have an unobstructed horizon and a good view down into the valley. The glowing red area in the center of the frame is a volcano. The car lights racing along the road are tracing out the famous “Saddle road”.
