Six Injured After Apartment Floor Collapses During Student Party

A floor collapsed during a student party at an apartment building in Denton, Texas, in the early hours of Sunday, November 12, injuring six people, local media reported.Video posted to social media shows a crowd of people jumping up and down in the third-floor apartment before the floor collapsed. The apartment is at the Ridge at North Texas, a student accommodation center.At least six people were treated for minor injuries but no one was taken to hospitals, WFAA reported.About 50 residents were also displaced as an investigation into the structural failure of the building was underway on Sunday, Fox 4 reported.
