So it kinda sounds like The Weeknd saw the writing on the wall.
Yep, according to new reports, the “Earned It” singer didn’t have a problem with Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber reconnecting after she underwent a kidney transplant in June.
And at the time, The Weeknd didn’t care.
See, he knew Justin was just concerned, and as a friend, he was checking in with Selena. But eventually The Weeknd became a little wary.
A source told Us Weekly that Justin and Selena’s relationship began as a platonic one, but old feelings resurfaced. Sure, The Weeknd trusted Selena – but he really didn’t trust Justin.
And maybe that’s why they split.
They were together for 10 months and now they’ve gone their separate ways… and it looks like Justin is slowly working his way back into Selena’s life.
So was The Weeknd right to be skeptical?
