Poles honour the dead at Skull Chapel

  • il y a 6 ans
Worshippers in Kudowa-Zdroj, a Polish village by the Czech border, mark All Saints' Day every year by honouring up to 30,000 anonymous victims of 17th and 18th-century conflicts and epidemics whose bones line the walls and crypt of the Skull Chapel. It is the only such chapel in Poland and one of just a few places in the world where human bones are out on display.
