SynapseIndia Diwali 2017 celebration
Diwali is one of the biggest and most auspicious festivals in India. After the long war, when Lord Rama returned to Ayodhya, the entire city was decorated with diyas, lamps and flowers. Diwali, the festival of light, marks the return of Lord Rama after defeating Ravan. The festival also marks the victory of good over evil. Clay lamps, or diyas, traditionally filled with mustard oil, are lit and placed around the entrances to homes and offices to bring prosperity and happiness in life.

Two days prior to Diwali, on the eve of Dhanteras, gifts were distributed to everyone.

A day before Diwali, most of the employees came dressed in beautiful traditional attire which created an atmosphere of festivity in office. The entire office was beautifully decorated with colourful lighting, flower garlands and diyas, beginning right from the entrance. A colourful Rangoli was also made at the entrance that caught everyone's attention.

A Musical chair event was held which was fun to watch. Everyone showed off their skills and game spirits in the event. As the day concluded, we all wished each other Happy and prosperous Diwali.
