Day 63: Today we are doing the perfect rainy day activity as part of our 365 Days: 365 Activites – checking out the New Zealand National Army Museum in Waiouru!
About this video:

It’s day 63 of New Zealand’s BIGGEST Gap Year and today we are starting the day in Taihape and making our way to the New Zealand National Army Museum in Wairouru.

We are greeted to a host of tanks outside of the New Zealand National Army Museum which Robin is desperate to drive, and then we enter the National Army Museum in Waiouru. The National Army Museum in Waiouru is an in-depth look at the New Zealand military from the early Maori battles to the world wars to modern warfare. Displays are with amazing sets of battle scenes, many you can view from the groud and above. There is so much to see that you could at least spend a good hour at the New Zealand National Army Museum in Waiouru.

After visiting the National Army Museum of New Zealand, we head back to Taihape and the Rusty Nail Backpackers.

So what do you think of the National Army Museum? Is the National Army Museum a place you would visit during a trip in New Zealand?
