Jharkhand : Girl dies due to starvation as family's ration card was not linked to Aadhar

In Jharkhand, an 11 year old girl allegedly died of starvation as her family's ration card was not linked to the Aadhaar. The incident was reported from the Simdega district in Jharkhand. The girl died on September 28 after her mother was unable to feed her. The family was struck off from government welfare rolls for not linking their ration card with the Aadhaar card.
