The U.S. Men's National Team failed to qualify for the 2018 World Cup

The United States will not be going to the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The U.S. failed to qualify after losing 2-1 to Trinidad & Tobago on Tuesday night. Victories by both Panama and Honduras were enough to keep the U.S. out of a qualifying spot. "We have no excuses. We failed today." This is the first time since 1986 that the U.S. has failed to reach the World Cup.
