New Star Wars trailer teased ahead of Christmas release

Star Wars fans rejoice, the new trailer for “The Last Jedi” has been released by Walt Disney. The studio is hoping it will be a Christmas blockbuster, and the promised surprises flagged in the summer by director Rian Johnson

The first teaser trailer was released six months ago, but this one features all-new material for the second installment of the new trilogy, and as the first was essentially a rehash of the very first 1977 movie, Episode eight represents a key moment for the franchise, as fans will expect it to take the story to new places, and many will hope it emulates the second movie in the saga, 1980’s “The Empire Strikes Back”, widely thought to be the best of the bunch.
