Lien Waiver For Subcontractors - FirstAmericanTV.com

Remolding your home? I got a helpful tip coming up next …. Hey, this is Joseph Yomtoubian and you are watching FirstAmericanTv.com. When you hire a contractor to remodel you home they hire subcontractors to do the work. If you pay the contractor and he leaves town the subs can put a lien on your property because the contractor ran out. To protect yourself make sure you make the sub contractors sign a line waiver, which states that they wave the right to make a lien on your property for any reason. Tell the contractor that you want everyone to sign the waiver before they work on the home or he won't be paid. That's it for now….Thanks for watching FirstAmericanTV.com. I'm Joseph Yomtoubian.
