Here's Why Jared Leto Hasn't Watched 'Suicide Squad'

So if you’ve ever seen Jared Leto’s wardrobe choices while out in public, you wouldn’t think that he’s self conscious about anything… But the 45-year-old actor does admit that he’s avoided watching “Suicide Squad” for that reason.
The Blade Runner 2049 star tells Syfy, “I never did see the film… I just think with watching your own films, it can be too self-conscious of a process.”
Again, this is surprising because the Academy Award winning actor and rock star chooses to wear outfits that definitely make him stand out.
But Leto tells Syfy that it’s different watching your work, saying “You either like what you did and you’re prone to repeat it, or you didn’t like it, and it can make you self-conscious. I’m not sure how much win there is for me. But I read the scripts, so I know what’s going to happen.”
Considering Blade Runner 2049 is so highly anticipated and well reviewed, we’ll see if he winds up watching that performance.
