Facebook says Russian ads reached 10 million people

Facebook says 10 million people in the United States saw political ads that the social giant said were purchased in Russia, in the months before and after the 2016 presidential election. Facebook, Twitter and Google, is under pressure from lawmakers and the public to disclose more details about Russia’s use of the platforms to spread its propaganda. “We understand more about how our service was abused and we will continue to investigate to learn all we can." Elliot Schrage, Facebook’s vice-president of policy and communications.
