Roselea who are battling relegation play host to Thornleigh on a cool saturday afternoon. The 1st half has plenty of chances go begging for both sides, with Thornleigh having the lions share of possession but find themselves unable to put one away. Roselea's young lads plus the ever reliable Ads causes some trouble, and midway into the second half Roselea take the lead with a tap in thanks to rednuts holding off three defenders to lay it off to an unmarked winger who cuts it back in for a simple tap in. Thorns seem to be woken by the fact they are facing a loss against one of the weaker teams in the comp and respond with what is surely a contender for goal of the year- care of a break by matty (zZZZzzz) and a spectacular finish by Raz, which leaves the keeper motionless as the ball beats him near post. Despite Thornleigh pushing hard for the final ten, it was too little too late and it ends one apiece.

3rd place with just a few games to go and two teams close behind us on points. Only 4 teams play in the finals so this weekend is big.
