Yeah, because of the wildfires that are hitting California, they had a lot of rushed up problems and also they were in some sort of transition, mainly because Natalie's former co-anchor, Evan Michael left the station because his contract was not renewed. Joe Orlando, who normally anchors on the weekends, is just filling in while they search for a replacement, but yeah the director Linda really screwed up on this one. I interned at KTXL last year and I somewhat know who those people are. It's not that bad, but IMHO, this was the worst opening with miscues and errors in them.

Wow, sounded like the anchors needed to have the holiday off! That opening sequence was riddled with miscues and errors!
