101 THE RESCUE
It's Brum's day for exploring the Big Town. Brum comes to the aid of a little girl whose balloons and ragdoll have flown away and got stuck on top of a very high building. But when Brum gets stuck himself, it's up to the Big Town firemen to come and help him out.
A perfect pilot episode for a kid's TV show, "Rescue" introduces us to Brum for the first time, and the simple 10 minute structure of each episode where his inquistivity leads him on adventures in the Big Town (Birmingham, UK, where the bulk of the episodes are filmed) that will always end where they begin, the motor museum in Bourton on the water, Gloucestershire where he lives.
102 THE KITE
It's Brum's day for exploring the Big Town. A fly-away kite with a face on it causes some trouble for Brum and a small boy on a windy day.
Brum is a small car that lives in a garage with lots of other old cars. But Brum is different than the others, as
he comes to life. His owner doesn't know this and doesn't know that he sneaks out behind his back for adventure.
He loves to go around Birmingham, England every day to find adventures and he meets some of his friends. Follow
him as he helps to save the day by identifying criminals stealing stuff or just stops things like a dog from
getting away or runaway objects and he even dances with people in the ending.
Then its time for Brum to return and sneak back into the garage, past his owner, before anyone notices that he's
missing. Then he goes fast asleep.
He can drive by himself and can express himself in a number of ways including opening and closing his doors and
bonnet, "bobbing" his suspension, flashing and swiveling his headlamps,
rotating his starting crank, extending his turn signals, and using his horn. He opens his doors to make him
happy and flaps his bonnet up to make him angry, but in the older series, he does not. Sometimes you can tell
from his eyes.
The adventures of a little car who lives in a motor museum and has adventures in the Big Town.
Beep beep! Say hello to our four-wheeled hero, Brum! He is very active, always zipping around and trying to be
helpful, even if his excitement sometimes gets him into a little bit of trouble!
Ready to wiggle wiggle with Brum and his friends? Brum comes back with a new Easter Special Episode!
Wake up Brum it's a beautiful day outside, we can go and play outside! Today, Brum is playing a game of I-Spy
and is on the lookout for lots of objects, including his best friend Moo the Cow! First he finds a big, green
tree, then he is on the search for his best friend Moo the Cow! But be careful Brum, there is a great big
puddle in the way! Good dodge Brum, you avoided the puddle expertly!
There's a noise going on in the barn. Baa the Sheep is blowing up lots of balloons using the Balloon machine,
But Baa has done such a good job that he's made too many helium balloon which takes him all the way up to space!
Luckily Brum, Giddy the Horse, Tweet the Bird and Oink the Pig are on hand to save the day!
Each mini episode is perfect for preschool children and their parents to enjoy.
Each simple story assists in the development of speech, helping little ones as they
learn names, sounds, letters, and songs.
Brum's friends keep him company: a collection of animals named, Moo, Baa, Tweet, Giddy, Woof,
and Quack and a truck named Beep. He is always on a new adventure, exploring new things in
his world and having lots of fun!
