'Rak of Aegis' playwright Liza Magtoto on triumphant reruns

The Philippine Educational Theater Association (Peta) celebrates its 50th year with the return of "Rak of Aegis", probably the most successful original Pilipino musical in the past two decades. With more than 200 shows and now on its fifth run, "Rak" is back with 82 shows from June 17 until August 28 this year. WhenINQUIRER.net was able to corner playwright Liza Magtoto not so long ago at the Peta Theater Centre, she told us how "Rak" was conceptualized and how it affected the viewing habits of Filipinos when it comes to the performing arts.
