Real Madrid opened their Swith a win, beating Manchester United 2-1 in the UEFA Super Cup on Tuesday night in Skopje, Macedonia. That was a lot easier than the scoreline might make you think. For 70 minutes Real Madrid were simply wonderful. A brief flurry at the end of either half is all well and good for United but you sensed that even if Mourinho's men had got the equaliser the Spanish champions could just have eased through the gears and won this all over again.
