On Friday AMC Entertainment, reported chilling second quarter earnings for 2017. The parent company to the worlds largest cinema chain AMC Theaters reported revenue of $1.2 billion and loss of $1.35 a share for the three months ended June 30. Those numbers have been blamed in part on weak sales over the summer movie slate. Those numbers were severely short of the earnings reported one year ago during the same period, which was 24 cents a share.
