Valued At $10 Million, Diamond Is Largest Ever Polished In Russia

The shiny clod is being billed as the most expensive diamond ever polished in Russia, with budding estimated to begin at $10 million.The diamond has a diameter of one inch and is about the size of the visible part of a human eye. It will be sold alongside four smaller diamonds from the same discovery. The collection was created from a 179-carat rough diamond discovered in Siberia in 2015, and took a year and a half to create.Alrosa has dedicated the collection to the Russian Tsar Peter the Great & the Romanov dynasty.
