Bus Passes by Flames as Wildfire Scorches Biguglia on the French Island of Corsica

Florianne Amblard captured this video from a bus as wildfires consumed the small community of Biguglia in Corsica, France, on July 24.Amblard boarded a bus from Ile Rousse to Bastia, because the ferry from Nice was not able to go to Bastia due to bad weather conditions.Once the bus approached a roundabout near Bastia, Amblard stated that local police informed the group that they would have to turn back due to the fire. While in route back to Ile Rousse the group passed in front of the wildfire.The wildfire burned over 4,500 acres near Biguglia on the French island of Corsica on July 26 and local news reported that 322 firefighters were still on the scene.
