FanDuel and DraftKings are no longer merging
  • 7 years ago
Less than a year after announcing their intention to merge, daily fantasy giants FanDuel and DraftKings have officially called it off. This news comes a month after the FTC said they would sue to block the merger as the result would give the new company control over a majority of the daily fantasy market. The two companies never finalized the merger so there is no change in their day-to-day operation. The merge would've helped both FanDuel and DraftKings decrease their massive advertising budgets.
