Emily Bronte "Oh Dream" Poem Animation Movie
Heres a virtual movie of Emily Bronte reading her sad and lovely poem "Oh dream where art thou now ?"
Genius and tragedy seemed to go side by side in the lives of the 3 Bronte sisters...a melancholia born no doubt of her experiences of lifes frailty seem to permeate much of Emily Jane Brontes (1818 - 1848)poems....This beautiful bitter sweet rather lyrical poem seems to cry out at the seemingly impossible dream of holding onto love....Alas poor emily Jane to be forever remembered for her "Wuthering Heights" was to die at the young age of thirty of tubercolosis
Kind Regards..

Oh Dream, where art though now ?
Oh Dream, where art though now ?
Long years have passed away
Since last, from off thy angel brow
I saw the light decay
Alas,alas for me
Thou wert so bright and fair
I could not think thy memory
Would yield me nought but care
The sun-beam and the storm
The summer-eve divine
The silent night of solemn calm
The full moons cloudless shine
Were once entwined with thee
But now with weary pain
Lost vision! tis enough for me-
Thou canst not shine again
