the soundtrack for this video is provided by detroit techno renegades Underground Resistance as they collobarate with I.R indigenous resistance featuring the militant krikati indians of brazil, dr das (founder asian dub foundation) and the ghost, for an electro track mixed dubwise in jamaica by steven stanley who mixed black uhuru, grace jones,B 52s.This video looks at indigenous stuggles and reality in various places in the world from brasil, colombia, bolivia to india. With a wide ranging political vision the viewer visually meets audre lorde, octavia butler, trin minh ha ,chrystos, crass, mark stewart, dubdem sound system, mad mike, upper hutt posse, ken loach and everything from african anarchists, black science fiction ,indigenous feminists.
one of the goals of this video is to challenge the image of indigenous people espcially in brasil where they are viewed as passive and unable to organise resistance without the aid of rock stars like Sting.this video provides concrete proof this is not the case.
