CNN contributor Ana Navarro slammed President Trump for his Sunday tweet.

CNN contributor Ana Navarro has sharply criticized President Trump's tweet which included a meme video of him punching CNN.
Navarro made her comments during a Sunday appearance on ABC News' 'This Week.'
"I think that is unacceptable. I think that is the president of the United States taking things way too far. It is an incitement to violence," said Navarro about the tweet. "He is going to get somebody killed in the media, maybe that will stop him."
Navarro also slammed an earlier guest on the show who defended Trump's tweet. Homeland Security Adviser Tom Bossert told the co-anchor Martha Raddatz , “no one would perceive that as a threat.”
Reacting to Bossert's remark, Navarro said of Trump, "He is surrounded by enablers that do nothing, but shake their heads and nod their heads in agreement with everything that he says. They have got to stop. They have got to stand for democracy, for freedom of the press. This is just going way too far. "
During the discussion, White House deputy press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders' recent comments were also brought up in the wake of Trump's anti-CNN tweet.
Sanders had told reporters on Thursday, "The President in no way form or fashion has ever promoted or encouraged violence. If anything, quite the contrary."
CNN also issued a statement after the tweet, noting in part, "It is a sad day when the President of the United States encourages violence against reporters. Clearly, Sarah Huckabee Sanders lied when she said the President had never done so."
