Lorde compared her friendship with Taylor Swift to an autoimmune disease

Lorde had been riding high recently after dropping her new album and revealing she ran a secret onion ring Instagram account but messed up in a bad way over the weekend. In an interview published by 'The Guardian' on Saturday, Lorde commented on her friendship with Taylor Swift and the public collectively facepalmed. "It’s like having a friend with very specific allergies. There are certain places you can’t go together. Certain things you can’t do...It’s like having a friend with an autoimmune disease." Comparing a friendship you have with someone to an autoimmune disease is generally not good PR and Twitter was pissed. Lorde has yet to say anything about her comments.
